Microgreen tea is a fun alternative to regular tea. It is a custom and nutritious blend of a soothing wintery drink. It is very nutritious and exciting to create. Your house will be filled with amazing aromas from the simmering tea.

  1. Gather all your supplies in a pot. Cut around 2 tablespoons of microgreens for each cup of tea being made. For a stronger blend, use more microgreens or steep for longer. Add spices such as cinnamon, cardamom, saffron, cloves, ginger, and nutmeg.

  2. In the same pot, add one cup of water for each desired serving. Turn on the stove and start to simmer the mixture.

  3. Once the tea has simmered for 1-5 minutes, take it off the heat and strain it into cups. Enjoy!

Microgreens would be more nutritious than normal tea because of the nutrients that microgreens have. Some of the nutrients, such as vitamin c, would be lost due to boiling, but it could help release amino acids and enzymes. This is not a true tea because the leaves are not dried. If you want, you can dry the microgreens, but it will result in the loss of more nutrients. The dried mix can be stored longer with the herbs and brewed when needed. Herb microgreens are a flavorful choice of microgreens that can create a more potent cup of tea. Some microgreens may not have strong flavors, so make sure to add your favourite spices. This is something that can be made as a fun project and turn into a prospering hobby.  Ultimately, one should make microgreen tea for a restoring start to each new day.
